Mantiques

I’ve been active on ebay lately. The only thing I’ve bought is this cute little Stanley 102 – sometimes called an apron plane because it’s so small it can be kept in a pocket. This was $15 including shipping.

Besides being so cute, this is a plane I’ve wanted for a while. It’s about 1/2 the size of the LN rabbet block plane I have, which is a bit of a tank, really. And not so good for extended one-handed use.

The seller’s ebay id was “mantiques” which I thought was a cute term.
